Theodore Eismeier
Professor of Government Emeritus (retired)
Professor of Government Ted Eismeier is concluding 34 years of teaching at Hamilton in June 2012. He earned his undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College and his M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Yale University. A recipient of the Class of 1962 Outstanding Teaching Award in 1997, his teaching interests have included American political institutions and public policy, and he served as?the on-site director of Hamilton’s Semester in Washington Program for eight terms. Professor Eismeier is the author of Business, Money, and Rise of Corporate PACs in American Elections (with Philip H. Pollock III; 1998) and has published widely in professional journals on the topic of campaign finance.
